Join Emily and Mel at Hurricane Hill Farm for an evening of astrology, herbs, yoga and Jupiter magic! 

Together, we’ll spend the evening engaging the senses and aligning our spirit-bodies to the expansive, imaginative frequencies of our most beloved sky daddy. Through intentional movement and ingesting, smelling and soaking in Jupiterian plants, we’ll attune our own physical and metaphysical incarnation to the energetic body of the god of thunder and lightning. 

The night will kick off with a beginner-friendly lecture on the principals of astrological magic and the energetic properties of Jupiter while participants enjoy a specially brewed tea of Jupiter herbs. As Jupiter prepares for their annual initiation into a new solar cycle, we’ll reflect back on the lessons we learned from Jupiter’s year long sojourn through their sign of exaltation in Cancer and discuss how to carry that healing astrological balm with us into this next chapter. 

From this shared theoretical foundation, we’ll shift gears into a movement-based attunement with a yoga flow designed by Mel to welcome the energetics of Jupiter and Sagittarius into our bodies. Expect a killer playlist, expansive, energizing breathing, balance play, and some gentle moon salutations.

We’ll conclude our time together by giving praise and offerings to Jupiter! Mel and Emily will demonstrate building a planetary altar and walk us through some ideas for creating your own devotional practice to the greater benefic. Participants will have the option to try their hand at some miraculous world-building by crafting a custom talismanic petition to Jupiter. 

Emily and Mel have created a variety of herbal preparations ritually imbued with the virtues and blessings of Jupiter in Cancer including wealth, health, generosity, wisdom and luck that we’ll engage with throughout our time together. Participants will select a preparation from this bounty of exalted Jupiter materia to bring home with them along with a printed workbook/zine to help integrate the material covered in class into day-to-day life. If the skies are clear, we might even get to peep some stars together out in the fields :)

The class is designed to be beginner friendly — no prior yoga, astrological or ceremonial magic knowledge or experience required! Please bring writing materials, water, movement-friendly clothes, an open mind and a desire to learn magic!
